Arya Malave-Melendez
(she/her/hers)
a NYC Gaymers Board Member, born in NYC and based in East Harlem. She has 13+ years in LGBTQIA+ advocacy and activism, having recieved a Citation of Merit from the Bronx Borough Preisdent for her service to the community. She has worked as an outreach specialist, HIV testing counselor, and group facilitator. She has also done a lot of work in education, and as a Trans 101 Education specialist. Arya is a proud trans woman gaymer, LGBTQIA+ activist and advocate, and anime fan.
